About the Airport

An airport located in the western region of Brazil, Cruzeiro do Sul Airport is the most important tourist and economic hub in the countryside of Acre. The terminal is about 15 km away from downtown and is essential for its supply. The airport is an important link between the cities of western Acre and the capital.
Cruzeiro do Sul is surrounded by the Juruá River and is the second most populous city in Acre. Affectionately called “little princess” of the Juruá Region, Cruzeiro do Sul has several well-preserved natural landscapes and influence of indigenous and riverside cultures. Some of the most famous attractions are the tour along the Croa River, the Nossa Senhora da Glória Cathedral and the Serra do Divisor National Park, a conservation unit with rich biodiversity.

Airport Fees

The effective use of airport areas, buildings, premises, equipment, facilities and services by airplanes and their passengers is subject to the payment of prices calculated based on Airport Tariffs, whose values are periodically readjusted, according to indexes established by the Ministry of Defense or ANAC (National Agency of Civil Aviation) through an ordinance.
